Shuttle Van Driver

Initial Wage Range:  $16.00 to $21.00 per hour – $16/hr Base Pay plus $3/hr Attendance Bonus plus $2/hr End of Season Bonus

Working Conditions:  Five days per week, including weekends, with 1/2 hour lunches.  35-40 hours per week.

Supervisor:  Customer Service Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transporting guest to/from the airport and assisting guests with their luggage.
  • Responsible to assist in maintaining the neatness and safety of work areas.
  • As needed, assist Customer Service Agents with returning clients.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be at least 25 years of age with a clean driving record (current copy of a driving record is required).
  • Must maintain clean driving record during employment (no tickets).  Insurance requirements do not allow us to hire any applicant that has been convicted of reckless driving or driving while intoxicated.
  • Must be able to lift loaded suitcases (lifting in and out of pick up vehicle, office, and luggage storage).  Approximately 70 pounds.
  • Ability to deal with clients and resolve customer complaints.
  • Must be self-motivated in looking for and completing tasks that contribute to the operation of the business.
  • Must punch in and out for the workday and in and out for your lunch breaks.
  • Must be able to work through October 7th, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have consistent and reliable work attendance.

Cashier

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Cashier/Receptionist:

  • Provide rotational coverage of Cashier and Receptionist positions.
  • Review rental agreements and accompanying documents for accuracy.
  • Transferring data from paper into a database with time limits.
  • Assist Customer Service staff with rental pick ups and returns.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Client Record Maintenance:

  • Accurately maintain client files.
  • Keep information confidential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to consistently present the business in a positive and upbeat style.
  • Ability to accurately account for cash and other financial transactions.
  • Ability to pay consistent attention to detail.
  • Extremely organized and accurate.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others as well as alone.
  • Familiarity with computers and word processing with knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Able to accurately type 40 words per minute.
  • Must have consistent and reliable work attendance and be to work on time.

Education:

  • High School diploma.

Experience:

  • 2 years office and clerical experience, with 1 to 2 years customer service experience.

RV Automotive Technician

Initial Wage Range:  $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, DOE.  This position is eligible for benefits including 2 weeks of paid vacation, healthcare, and 401(k) with an employer match

Working Conditions:  Typically 5 days per week (but often more during peak season) with days off varying throughout the week and the season.  We offer 1/2 hour lunches with general hours being between 8:00am and 5:00pm, averaging 40 hours per week.

Organizational Unit:  Fixed Operations Department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of all types of RV products in accordance with company and manufacturer goals and standards.
  • Staging motorized RV’s as needed for repairs.
  • Acquiring parts as needed for assigned repairs.
  • Accurate, timely submission of Repair Orders including all flagged hours.
  • Accurate, timely submission of Special Ordered Parts requests.
  • Effective communication with customers in conjunction with necessary repairs as requested by management.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment.
  • Identifying the need for, and wearing of, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) wherever necessary.
  • Showing initiative in maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Applicants must be 25 years of age.
  • Certified RV Technician preferred.
  • Must have a complete set of tools.
  • Preference given to candidates with body repair experience.
  • Preference given to Certified Factory training experience.
  • Must have a valid Alaska driver’s license and have, and maintain, a clean driving record during duration of employment.
  • Must be able to lift 72 pounds.
  • Must maintain consistent and reliable attendance, including reporting to work on time.
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency when necessary.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must have sufficient tools to make repairs as necessary.
  • Must possess knowledge and ability to diagnose the cause of, and perform the repair to, system malfunctions of the RV (excluding the chassis).
  • Must project a professional image both in physical appearance and verbal communications.
  • Must be able to clearly describe basic troubleshooting procedures to customers over the phone.
  • Must be willing and able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or n a group as part of a team as needed.
  • Must possess a positive, optimistic, ‘can-do’ attitude ALL of the time.
  • Must accurately punch in and out on the company’s time clock for the workday and lunch periods.

 

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.  Certified RV Technician preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 3 years experience as an RV Service Technician or be a graduate of a NRVTI School with an additional 1 year of experience as an RV Service Technician.

Wash Bay/Lot Attendant

Working Conditions:  Seasonal employment from May 1st through October 7th, 2022.  Five days per week including weekends with 1/2 hour lunch.  30 to 45 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning exterior of returned motor homes, filling motor homes with water, and cleaning floor mats.
  • Assisting in opening and closing of business days throughout the rental season. This will include tasks such as detailing motor homes and preparation of vehicles for rental customers, storage, and/or sale.
  • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of work and common areas such as the employee lunchroom.
  • Dumping and rinsing vehicle holding tanks.
  • Assisting (as needed) the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Customer Service Departments in preparing motor homes for rental customers.
  • All additional duties as needed and assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a current Alaska driver’s license.  A good driving record must be maintained during employment duration.  A current copy of employee driving records is required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must effectively punch in and out of the company time clock for the workday and lunch periods.
  • Must be able to work until October 2nd, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must maintain consistent and reliable attendance, including reporting to work on time.
